In 1988 Senate Bill 933 establish the State Ombudsman for the Foster Care Program within the State of California.  The Ombudperson's Office focuses on ensuring the rights Foster Care are supported. Join this action-packed workshop to learn about foster youth rights! All participants will receive helpful information about the Foster Youth Bill of Rights, mental health rights, sexual and reproductive health rights, and educatio rights. Participants will also learn tips and tricks to effectively engage and empower youth with their rights.
